According to associate , NVIDIA company prepares a new chipset intended for AMD processors new generation, designed for AM3 processor .
The chipset MCP85 is oriented to the mass segment. In other words, in the positioning it coincides exactly with the GeForce 8100/8200/8300 (MCP78). The important special feature of this chipset will become the hybrid SLI support , Hybrid power and GeForce boost : NVIDIA company will equip those motherboard with initial level graphic card .  MCP85 will be released in two versions , practically identical according to their functionality : MCP85- S and MCP85- V. The difference will consist in frequencies and presence (or absence) of pureVideo support . Like MCP82 , which relates to the high performance segment, MCP85 chipset will allow to open the frequency potential of AMD phenom processors due to ACC technology . MCP85 models are already dispatched to NVIDIA partners . The mass production will begin during January. Related Products : | ||
