After the release of core i7 processors and x58 chipset , the main Intel product in the mass and budget segments will remain based on penryn CPU .
In order to support this platform , Intel will produce new revisions, and also drivers. The majorities of new motherboard in the following year will support DDR3. To the possibilities Of G45 , Intel added the hardware support of HD- video, 1080/24P.  G41 will support HDMI and instead of ICH7 it uses the south bridge ICH7R with the extended RAID- functionality.
