As became known, was released new openOffice.org packet programs. Convenient and easily configurable, OpenOffice.org 2.4 realizes potential software tasks with the initial open code. Besides the new work module with databases and extended XML possibilities openOffice.org 2.x support openDocument OASIS format. Packet is available in 36 languages, capable to work under MS Windows, GNU/linux, Sun solaris, Mac OS X (X11) and other platforms. In addition to this proposed PDF support, new module for work with electronic tables, closer integration with desktop and other special features, which use extended XML options, like creation, edition and xForms use.
